Steve Pool (born November 5, 1953) is the primary weather anchor for KOMO-TV in Seattle. He began working for the station as an intern while attending the University of Washington in Pullman, Washington. He began working for KOMO in 1977 as the station’s main scientific reporter, in addition to his duties as weekend news anchor and weather forecaster on weekends. Following the retirement of long-time KOMO weather anchor Ray Ramsey, he took over as the station’s main weather forecaster in 1984. During the same year, he started presenting a weekly television show on KOMO-TV called “Front Runners,” which aired every Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on KOMO-TV.
